Does a check engine light mean I need a tow?
Not always. Many causes can be diagnosed right where the car is parked. A flashing light can signal a serious misfire, though, so limit driving and give us a call.
Can't I just read the code myself?
A code tells you which system reported a problem, not always why. Diagnosis confirms the cause so you don't pay for parts you don't need.
What should I tell you when I request service?
Your vehicle's year, make, and model, your VIN or tag (license plate) number, what you're noticing, when it started, and where the vehicle is parked.
